Antanas Žmuidzinavičius is a Lithuanian painter. He was born in 1876, October 31. He studied in "Veiveriai teacher seminary". His pseudonym was Antanas Žemaitis. He spent most of his time painting landscapes. He lived in Kaunas. In 1906-1907 Antanas Žmuidzinavičius held the first Lithuanian art exhibition together with M. K. Čiurlionis, Antanas Jaroševičius, Petras Kalpokas, Petras Rimša, Kajetonas Šklėris held the first Lithuanian art exhibition. Antanas Žmuidzinavičius painted about 2000 pictures. He travelled to Poland and the USA. In 1924 he returned to Lithuania. He died in 1966 .
